Eta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Holds National Confab Here

The 30th Biennial Grand BoulĂ©, or National Convention, of Eta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. (Sorority) will convene in Atlanta, Aug. 5-10 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Members of the sorority throughout the United States and the Virgin Islands will gather at the BoulĂ© for the purpose of leadership development, discussion of pertinent issues, to celebrate achievements and to strategically plan for the future of the Sorority. The theme of this year’s BoulĂ© is “Eta Phi Beta Women: United to Effect Change in a Global Society.”

Eta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. is a business and professional women’s organization that was founded in 1942 by 11 visionary women that attended Lewis Business College in Detroit. The year 2012 marks the 70th anniversary of Eta Phi Beta. Throughout this year, the sorority will celebrate the legacy of its Noble Founders and 70 years of community service.

Eta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. is a family-oriented sorority. The National Council of SHADS are the husbands of the sorority members and the Youth Group consists of children ages 6-18 years of age. The SHADS and Youth Group will hold their conventions concurrently with the Grand Boulé.

The public is invited to attend the public events during the Boulé.
