Congressman David Scott will host the Eighth Annual 13th Congressional District Health Fair on Saturday, August 18. This event will feature free health screenings and information provided by 83 area doctors and healthcare providers.
Free health screenings include: Prostate cancer PSA screenings; Clinical breast cancer exams; HIV/ AIDS screenings; Diabetes screenings (glucose); Free discount prescription drug cards; Blood pressure screenings; Cholesterol screenings; Depression; Sickle cell screenings; Vision, hearing and dental screenings; and more! It will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Mundy Mill High School, 9652 Fayetteville Rd. (Highway 54) in Jonesboro, GA.
Participants include: AID Atlanta, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Colgate Bright Smiles Bright Futures, Eye Specialists of Georgia, Fulton County Department of Health Services Mobile Unit – Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, Grady Health System, GNLD Wellness, Great Expressions Dental, Kroger Pharmacy, Sisters by Choice, Walgreens Pharmacy, and many others!
