National Center For Civil And Human Rights Presents ‘Speak Truth To Power’

The National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR), in partnership with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, presents “Speak Truth To Power: Voices Beyond The Dark.”

The production, which supports the NCCHR groundbreaking activities, will be Tuesday, June 26, 7 p.m. at Rialto Center for the Arts. Tickets are $50.

The theatrical presentation written by Ariel Dorfman will feature celebrities performing human rights monologues based on interviews with activists from around the world. Issues include slavery, environmental activism, religion and politics.

Confirmed actors include Lynn Whitfield, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Alexis Bledel, Dawnn Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden, Charles Dutton and Jaime Cepero.
