Fitness Guru To Host Event For Kids In Decatur Saturday

Stepp Stewart dance and fitness guru on the Dr. Oz TV show will hold DeKalb County Day of Play, a free get fit event for kids and the entire family at Exchange Park, 2771 Columbia Drive, Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will be workouts, dance, play and giveaways.

Stepp Stewart is the founder and CEO of Dynamite Productions and the creative force behind the brands Dynamite National Talent Competition, Stepp With Me Dance Conventions, Red Hot Broadway, The Chocolettes And Show -N-Tell the musical. He is an Emmy nominated songwriter and is best known for his regular standout appearances on “The Dr. Oz Show.” He has been coined “Americas’s Dance Fitness Guru” and proves it in his best selling cardio dance DVDs, “Burn it Up” and “Stepp With Me.”

Born in Orrville, OH, home of Smuckers Jelly, Stepp has traveled the world as a performer, choreographer, director, and producer of pure excitement. His body of work includes performances in the musicals: “Dreamgirls,” “Chicago,”  “Jellys Last Jam,”  “Sophisticated Ladies,”  “Hot Mikado,”  and more. He has performed for Prince Charles and Lady Diana, worked out with President Obama and excited the crowd at Oprah’s “O-YOU” event, last October.
