BeltLine Partnership Opens 6th Season Of Atlanta BeltLine Free Tour Program

By Special to the Daily World
The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership announces the opening of its sixth season of one of the hottest tickets in town: The Atlanta BeltLine Tour Program. More than 12,000 fans have enjoyed a free, narrated bus tour of the Atlanta BeltLine, named “One of the things every Atlantan must do” by Atlanta Magazine. Tours for the month of February filled in less than four days. Tour registrations for March opened again on Feb. 15 at Tour.BeltLine.org.

“We are amazed by the rabid response the Atlanta BeltLine Tour Program continues to receive, even in its sixth year,” said Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Executive Director Valarie Wilson. “And we are pleased to be able to offer this program for free thanks to the incredible support we receive through the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership’s Annual Campaign.”

The $35 per person cost of the tours is underwritten by the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership’s annual campaign. The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership helps raise awareness and educates the public through programs such as Atlanta BeltLine Tours, which are offered for free so that all residents can become familiar with the Atlanta BeltLine.

The tours provide a first-hand view of progress along the Atlanta BeltLine – including the Eastside Trail, currently under construction. They are the only way to view the future West Side Park and Reservoir.

Participants consistently report that the tour experience changes their perspective of Atlanta.
