Delta Loans Executive To Rights Center

Delta Air Lines has announced Scarlet Pressley Brown, currently Delta’s director-Community and External Affairs, will begin working for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights on March 1 as part of a loaned executive program. Her title at the center will be vice president – Marketing.

Delta previously pledged $1 million to support the National Center for Civil and Human Rights’ current programming and planned facility in downtown Atlanta.

The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, scheduled to open in 2014, will feature permanent collections, timely exhibitions and interactive education opportunities to engage visitors in the historical and current struggle to secure and express human rights. The Center will be located in Atlanta’s Pemberton Place adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park, The New World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium.
