The celebration takes place Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 5:30 pm followed by dinner at 6:00 pm, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, 265 Peachtree Center Avenue, Atlanta, GA.

Packer, an Atlanta-based film producer who has used the city as a backdrop for some of his films, has produced two box office hits grossing more than $100 Million in a single year. This includes the film, Stomp the Yard film on several Atlanta college campuses.

He is noted as a dynamic and inspiring speaker who delivers educational and motivational speeches to industry groups, as well as youth and community groups nationwide.

Packer will join fellow entrepreneurs at the ABL’s annual meeting where many African American owned businesses will be recognized for conducting continuous business for more than 25 years.

Each year, the annual meeting sets the stage as the driving force for business owners to take hold of “Big Visions” especially through the address of keynote speakers who achieved success and continuously set milestones.

“Closing out the year with the theme ‘Big Vision for Growing Enterprises’ couldn’t have come at a better time,” says Leona Barr-Davenport, ABL’s president and CEO. “The excitement alone of being in a room filled with business owners drawing from those who continue to pave the way is enough to inspire any professional to do great things.”

Most importantly, ABL believes that in order for entrepreneurs and professionals to keep the momentum of being inspired and challenged is to get a clear understanding of their industry and its impact on the community.
