Providence Missionary Baptist Church, under the pastoral leadership of the Rev. Dr. Gerald L. Durley, will host its 140th anniversary.
On Saturday, Oct. 15, the church will host its first annual street festival from noon – 6 p.m. The festival will be held in front of the church, located on the corner of Benjamin E. Mays Drive and Beecher Road.
The streets will be blocked off to accommodate vendor booths and allow patrons to mingle freely.
There will be live cultural performances, vendors and activities for the entire family. Featured special guest is Praise 102.5 FM from noon – 2 p.m. via live broadcast.
The church is located at 2295 Benjamin E. Mays Drive in Southwest Atlanta.
