Wreath Laying To Commemorate King

 

Corretta_Scott_King.jpgJudith Forte, Superintendent of the National M.L. King Historic Park Site (left) joins Rev. Elder Bernice King, daughter of the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King recently in laying a wreath of the Ebenezer Baptist Church here to commemorate the memory of King’s father, who was pastor of the church when he was shot in Memphis on April 4, 1968.  Elder King is also founding president of “Be A King,” a group that is designed to transform youth into a King Mindset. She also  serves on the Board of Directors of the M.L. King Jr. Center For Social Change.
