Carolyn Young, wife of former Atlanta Mayor and Ambassador Andrew Young, and Kysha Cameron, wife of nationally known radio personality Ryan Cameron, are honorary chairs for the Black Women Film Network’s Untold Stories Awards Luncheon on March 11 at 11:30 a.m. at Atlanta’s Marriot Marquis.  Both are passionate advocates for the arts and are longtime supporters of the organization.  They join Roger Bobb of Tyler Perry Studios and Karyn Greer of WXIA-11 Alive as participants in this year’s event.  Bobb and Greer will host the event.

“We are excited about this year’s program, and our first-ever honorary chairs for the event,” said BWFN founder Sheryl Gripper.  “Andrew Young is a previous honoree and Carolyn Young has been a friend of the organization for years.  Kysha and Ryan Cameron attended last year’s event and Kysha was moved by the organization’s focus on developing students and providing scholarships. Her support will be a tremendous benefit to the luncheon and our organization.”

The 2011 honorees include: Chip and Kim Fields; Keisha Knight Pulliam; Terri Vaughn; Cassi Davis; Deanna Nowell; Omari Hardwick, and Tirrell Whittley

Support for the Black Women Film Network’s Untold Stories Luncheon is provided by Fulton County Arts Council, Anheuser-Busch Company, Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Atlanta Marriot Marquis, Ananse Creative, National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame, Publix Supermarkets and Spelman College.
